Well, we made the Elephant Toothpaste today and it was a big hit. I love how all the foam shot up out of the graduated cylinder!! Speaking of "wicked potions"....SNAPE comes to mind. In high school, Snape was considered an "outsider". What is it about him that made it difficult to connect with others?

Down below in the section called Floo Network, I added a link that takes you to a site that has an experiment like Eleph. Snape is an outsider. He is a loner and doesn't like to hang out with lots of people at once. I think he is very smart and he was picked on as a kid. I think that wasn't very fair. He didn't have to be popular, but the bullies should have let him be who he is.
Hey!I was so upset when I found out!So are we really going to go see the movie when It comes out!Not that I like the movies I mean they leave so much out!They say they don`t have time to add stuff that was in the book why do they have time to put stuff in the movie that`s not even in the book,I mean if you have time you might as well put stuff in the movie that was there in the first place.But I think the third one is the best.The fifth one the worst,because my mom told me they left out so much! Well I think Snape was a WEIRDIE! (That is a new word I learned from the Americans. It is simply charming!)
I think Fleur and Dumbledore are both right. I mean, in nearly EVERY single Muggle middle school, if you are ugly or super-smart or just plain different, then most people don't want to hang out with you. The "popular kids" will quite possibly label you as "that weird kid." Or so I've heard. How very sad. :(

I think it was because he was..... not as "attractive" as I was in my youth. Poor Severous..... he didn't quite diserve it. He was a very smart person, and that probably made him an outsider. plus his outfit..... poor, poor Severous. He really did love Lily though. How did this go from Elephant toothpaste to Snape?

My comment on Snape:People didn't like him because he was different, and a half-blood. While James and Lily went to school, half-bloods weren't very well liked.

Well, you're theory is slightly inaccurate, because Lily was indeed muggle-born, and she got along just fine. It's just the stupid Slytherins who have problems with that. Anyway, I think Snape must've wanted to b alone, otherwise he would've been nicer to Lily. I'm saying that that's what he really, really, completely and totally wants, but maybe it's a mental, emotional, his-parents-never-loved-him thing.
ABANDONMENT ISSUES! He didn't trust anyone because what his parents did to him! And his parents always fought, and that's why he was afaid of a serious relationship with anyone, let alone his life-long crush. I should be a phscologist person one day.
